Version Beta 1.1 is the first update since Style Jukebox launch, that brings a new feature: Synchronizing Songs Artwork. This feature helps users find albums artwork on the internet. It has an automatic and a manual way of selecting albums artwork. The manual one allows users to select the most appropriate image for the song from a list of 10 images. In order to select the image you must select the song, right click, select More Information, and then click Sync Artwork. The second method is to go to Extra menu and select Synchronize Albums Artwork. This method will search the album artwork for every song in the Library that doesn’t have an artwork and will apply to the song the first image from the results list.

  Style Jukebox Beta 1.1 also has a lot of improvements on performance, update system and Windows 7 integration.

   We decided to rather release an update (like 1.1) every few weeks than working on the next version and release it after several months. Working this way will ensure a better feedback from our users that will reflect in a more stable and reliable Style Jukebox.

  Style Jukebox (Beta) has one week since its launch and we are proud to announce the first week statistics: we have more than 1100 active users all over the world. And the number is growing.

   In this article we would like to find out from you, the users, what do you want from future versions of Style Jukebox, and we want to share with you some plans that we made until now.

   The next days we will release an update for Style Jukebox (Beta) that will fix several bugs and it will make the player more stable and faster.

  We received a lot of feedback on the Ad Platform. What is the future of the advertisement platform in Style Jukebox? Because we know that a lot of users uninstall Jukebox because of the ad module. We want to change this. The fact is that we must have some revenues in order to continue developing it. For now, accepting the ad module is the way to help us developing it. For the future we want to have more possibilities. Either we create a Style Jukebox – commercial  version with no ads, and with a price between 5 and 10 euro – or we create a Style Jukebox Lite version with no ads, but with less functionalities. We want to ask your opinion here and we want to hear your solutions.

   Now let’s get focused on the next release: Beta 2. In Beta 2 we want to provide at least these features: Hardware accelerated-integrated codec, possibility to personalize Jukebox colors, save them as a skin and upload them in order to share it, Last.FM integration and CD/DVD burn. Of course, all these will be inserted in such a way, so that Style Jukebox interface will continue to be clean and intuitive. Also we would like to find out what are your favorite features and what do you want to see in future releases.

   We are pleased to introduce Jukebox Advertisement Platform (Beta). This platform allows advertisers to display ads in Style Jukebox. The space reserved for ads situated in top-right corner of Style Jukebox user interface and has a size of 250 pixels width and 50 pixels height.

    In order to publish your ad you must download Jukebox Ad Manager (Beta) and create an advertiser account. Both the application and the registration are free.

   Once you created your advertiser account you must add credit. You can buy units of advertising using PayPal. Remember to copy the transaction ID into Ad Manager so that the administrator will have a confirmation and will update your account.

  From this moment you can create ads, and set them a specific credit. Ad Platform offers you the possibility to target your ad based on geographical location. After you customized your ad, you will have to send it to approval. The ad will be checked to see if it respect our standards and you will receive the confirmation within 24 hours. Any modification of an ad will send that ad again to the approval.

  Jukebox Ad Manager (Beta) allows the advertiser the see platform information, like total number of users in a specific region, or ads statistics like view count or click count.

    Welcome to Style Jukebox blog. It’s  been over a year since we released an upgrade for Style Jukebox. Today, 1st of July 2010, we are releasing Style Jukebox Beta 1 version, as a free download, on Style Jukebox Website.

    On Beta version we focused not only to deliver new amazing features, but to improve Style Jukebox stability. We achieved to maintain the same easy to use interface and add new features like Grid View, Video Support, Equalizer, Codec Manager, iPod Support, etc.

   This is the first time we create an internet – environment for our users. So, from now on, you can find information about Style Jukebox on the website, blog, Facebook page and Twitter. We even created an ad that you can see below:

  In Style Jukebox (Beta) we introduced Ad Platform. This platform allows us to continue developing Style Jukebox, users to download it for free and advertisers to make their product known. In order to publish your ad we created Jukebox Ad Manager (Beta, that will be released on the 5th of July. You can find information about it on Jukebox Ad Manager (Beta) Documentation.

    Welcome to Style Jukebox Blog. Today, 1st of July 2009, we are releasing the first public version of Style Jukebox. Style Jukebox is the next generation media player for Windows, offering a new user interface, a set of incredible new features, all this available for major audio formats.

   Style Jukebox is a user-centric media player allowing the user to listen music in a more enjoyable way. The UI is build with Windows Presentation Foundation, taking advantage of the possibility to create vector-based user interface elements (see Main Menu icons). Also, we created the possibility to customize the UI with 3 integrated skins or by modifying the background wallpaper. All UI elements are intuitive and easy to use (see Library Menu, More Information Dialog).

    Style Jukebox makes tasks like creating playlists or updating the library with new files an automatic job for the player. Folder Watch is an advanced feature that allows you to manage your library. So if a new file is added, the name has been modified, or you have deleted it, Folder Watch will automatically modify the library to reflect the changes.

   Style Jukebox is now at Alpha 3 stage. It is not completed. We are planning to  launch it at the end of 2009 or the in the first quarter of 2010. If you find any bugs please send us an email to feedback@stylejukebox.com.
